Our Mission

Before you know it, you've got 20+ subscriptions scattered across different platforms, and you have no idea what you're actually paying for.
We built StackMess because we felt this pain ourselves. We wanted a simple way to track all our services, understand dependencies, and make informed decisions about our infrastructure.
Our goal is simple: give developers clarity and control over their service stack, without the complexity of enterprise tools or the limitations of spreadsheets.
Why We Built This
The $500 Wake-Up Call
Like many developers, we had services we forgot we were paying for. One day we realized we were spending $500/month on services we barely used. Some were for projects that had been shut down months ago. That was the moment we knew we needed a better system.
The Dependency Disaster
We once cancelled a service thinking it was only used for one project. Turns out, three other projects depended on it. We didn't realize until things started breaking. We needed a way to understand these hidden dependencies before making changes.
The Simple Solution
We tried spreadsheets, we tried enterprise tools, we tried keeping it all in our heads. Nothing felt right. We wanted something simple, focused, and designed for developers. So we built StackMess.
